About Us
The Fellowship of Hungarian Christian Bikers (MKMK) is an interdenominational organization independent of any church, movement or political party. Motorcycling means a lot to us all and most of us have been riding on two wheels for years, even decades. At the same time we are believers who confess Jesus Christ to be our personal Saviour. We have accepted Him in our hearts as the Lord and Governor of our lives. The value system formulated by the Bible is the basis of our value system, too. It is present in our everyday lives and determines our way of thinking and our decisions. This is quite important for us, because those who experience what God’s love and grace mean, may also experience the wonderful joy resulting from it. And not only the joy, but also the inner peace and freedom. This very freedom strongly motivates our readiness to serve others. Yes, we have been called to freedom – “real freedom is to serve through love” – as stated in our motto.
In our community's' activities we attribute an important role to the following quotation:
"In the most important things we must strive for unity, in the less important for freedom, and in everything for love!”
Our Mission – Our Goals:
- We would like to offer an alternative to those motorcyclists who are willing to become acquainted with real joy and freedom. We gladly share with anyone the Good News about God’s love and about the personal work that Jesus Christ does in our lives.
- We organize meetings and rides so that new brotherly relationships and friendships may be forged and we may be edified by God’s love and each other’s faith. We want to become ready to share our greatest treasure with the circle of motorcyclists: the Good News. Namely, that Jesus Christ has died on the cross in your stead, and for you, so you may be free from the depressing burden of your messed up or empty life, and gain a life you did not even dare to dream about.
- We also organize rides for charitable purposes, during which we visit institutions where we can bring joy to the residents with our presence and offer help with our donations. - In our environment and in motorcyclist circles we advocate the importance of safe, civilized and responsible motorcycling. We learn from each other to live in a Christ-like way in this world and to comply with the rules on the road.
What We Believe:
- We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and God’s revelation in its entirety.
- We believe in one God who has existed forever in three persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit – and who created heaven and earth.
- We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and died on the cross to redeem sinful mankind. We believe that he was resurrected in the flesh, ascended to heaven and is sitting at the right hand of God the Father and that he will return with might and glory in a manner visible to everyone.
- We believe in the Holy Spirit, who leads people living without God to repentance and thus to conversion, gives them a new life and bestows the free gift of salvation to those believing in Jesus Christ.
- We believe that it is important to grow in faith by deepening our personal relationship with Jesus Christ and by remaining obedient to him, by increasing our knowledge of and keeping the Word of God, by ardent prayer, by loving fellowship with other believers, by brave testimony to non-believers, by serving self-denyingly, by accepting to suffer for the sake of Christ, and by fighting spiritual battles against spiritual powers of evil.
- We believe in the resurrection of the flesh. We believe that those saved by Jesus Christ will be resurrected to eternal life, and those who reject God's grace, to judgement. - We believe in the universal Christian church, whose head is Jesus Christ, and whose members are those believers who have put their trust in Jesus Christ, repented of their sins and have been born again, irrespective of their denomination. We accept and confess the Apostolic Creed.
Our Short History:
Some of us decided to create a motorcyclists’ group whose members are connected by two important areas: their faith and motorcycling, since we are Christians and motorcyclists.
Some of us met in 2005, even before our motorcyclists’ fellowship was constituted. The first such event took place in Bodrog, then our meetings became regular. During these meetings, we became more and more aware of the necessity to function as a motorcyclists’ fellowship, so that in 2007 we (that is twelve founding members) decided to create the Fellowship of Hungarian Christian Motorcyclists.
It was obvious in the beginning that we would be quite a varied community. We are men and women of different ages, from various parts of the country and from different social backgrounds. We not only belong to different denominations and congregations, but also have motorcycles of different sizes and categories. Still, we realised how great it is to meet with each other and what possibilities this opens up.
During the past few years the group has undergone much shaping. We have become even more aware of how important it is to belong together and to formalize this fellowship. While we spent much time together and organized common programmes, old friendships deepened and new ones were forged. Although we live our everyday life far from each other in remote parts of the country, we have the possibility to keep up contact with each other on the forum of our website and through our mailing list.
Our fellowship came to be known during the years passed since we were first founded. We have decided to give our ministry an organizational frame, so we conducted our activities as members of the Hungarian Evangelical Alliance between 2012 and 2019. For the sake of undisturbed operation of the biker mission we founded an association. It was registered by the Metropolitan Court under the name of Hungarian Christian Bikers’ Fellowship Association (MKMKE) in January 2020.

How You Can Take up Contact with Us
We would naturally not like to be a closed, “inbred” fellowship, but sincerely welcome in our midst any motorcyclist who can identify with our mission and the value system of our goals. There are no conditions to be fulfilled, you do not have to be a “certified” Christian if you want to get in touch with us. If you are in search of something you think you might find in our fellowship, make contact with us and just come along to our published programmes!
You will find more detailed information on our website, where you can have a look at the photos and video recordings of our events so far, and where you also have the possibility to use the forum function.
We will gladly welcome anyone interested!
